We have one planet [or at least one we can live on, as of 2022].
Alumeshet is proud to take part in the effort to drive the sustainability revolution in the construction industry, reducing the negative environmental impact of buildings and promoting ecological building practices.
So how do we do it?
Our guiding principle for creating sustainable construction begins at the design stage planning that takes into account climate change, as well as the needs of residents and users by integrating advanced knowledge and technologies into development and construction processes for responsible resource consumption.
Take, for example, the Matam Haifa project, designed by Yashar Architects to the highest standards of the internationally recognized American environmental certification, “LEED Gold.” As part of the client’s green building requirements, particularly regarding radiation control, Alumeshet’s engineers carried out numerous simulations and calculations of various glass compositions for the curtain walls—both in terms of performance and architectural considerations.
We placed special emphasis on balancing high light transmission with architectural requirements to avoid overly dark glazing. This was achieved באמצעות small black dot frit patterns that are nearly imperceptible on the glass, significantly improving radiation control both outward and inward.
