The architectural requirements involved in creating a unique three-dimensional building envelope, while delivering sustainable solutions, challenge us to develop specialized materials—such as “ETFE,” an अत्य strong polymer membrane inflated with air into cushion-like forms, enabling exceptional geometries.

Together with our subsidiary, Sapirium [specializing in this type of work], we are executing envelope works for the roofing of four large skylights in the Wix project, incorporating this material.

One of ETFE’s key advantages is its extremely low weight, which allows for a minimal structural system compared to glass roofing. The material is also very easy to maintain, and damaged membranes can be replaced quickly and at low cost. In addition, ETFE offers high thermal and acoustic insulation performance under varying environmental conditions such as radiation and temperature.
